Our goal is to create a safe and caring environment in order to promote the healing of pain and illness and to strengthen and support the body to prevent future illness and disease. Acupuncture can help you if you are suffering from chronic or acute illness, pain, stress, anxiety, etc. Through the utilization of Chinese Medicine we will help activate and promote natural healing by enhancing immunity, physical and emotional health, and improving overall functioning and well-being. This safe and noninvasive form of medicine will be utilized to help our patients get well and stay healthy. It can also be used in conjunction with western medicine to complement conventional medical treatments.

About the Practitioner:

Rachel Jakob, M.S., L.Ac., is a Licensed Acupuncturist in New York State. She is a graduate student of Touro College’s Graduate Program in Oriental Medicine. She completed a 2 year clinical internship where she offered treatment and maintained the health care of a diverse patient caseload in a high-volume New York City clinical setting. In addition, she completed a yearlong internship at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY where she received training in Orthopedic Rehabilitation, Labor & Delivery, Oncology, and Behavioral Health units. She also received a BA degree in Psychology from Brooklyn College. She currently practices in Brooklyn, NY and in New York City.
